Friday
night we'll have a keynote address from Dr. Tim Baroni on the
fungi of the Caribbean islands.

We'll
collect fungi on the beautiful Lindsay-Parsons Biodiversity Preserve,
where Cornell has teamed up with a
- Pharmaceutical company and a Land
Trust to bioprospect for pharmaceuticals.

Saturday
evening we'll play a stimulating game of Fungal Jeopardy, hosted
by the inestimable Dr. George Hudler.

- The Peck Foray is now in its 47th
great year. It's a fun weekend, and we expect an interesting
diversity of mycophiles,
- ranging from serious students
of mycology to beginning mushroom-hunters.
